Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese Medicine

Acupuncture is an ancient medicine backed by thousands of years of case studies and supported by modern research.

People turn to this modality for a variety of medical conditions including acute injury, chronic pain, and imbalance in any of the major body systems (cardiovascular, digestive, musculoskeletal, etc.).

Acupuncture directly benefits a person's bodily health by increasing circulation, reducing swelling, releasing endorphins, and stimulating the limbic system.

The side effects of acupuncture are lower stress, a calmer mindset, improved circulation, better digestion, and a healthier metabolic level.

Body Work

Back Massage

Gua sha  & Cupping boost the immune system and help the body detox metabolic byproducts that may have accumulated in tight or restricted areas of the body. These therapeutic massage techniques stimulate blood flow, microcirculation, aid detoxification  and reduce inflammation. For most patients, receiving cupping or gua sha for the first time, skin can become red or red-purple after a treatment, but this discoloration will slowly fade over a few days.

Yoga

Yoga Pose

Yoga has innumerable benefits to offer the modern-day human. Yoga helps develop mental and physical balance, helps develop strength, discipline, mobility, ease of movement, focus and a higher level of awareness in your body. Yoga prescriptions are tailored according to what you need, be it balancing out muscle groups from biking, hiking or skiing, recovering from injury/surgery, improving circulation, improving lymph drainage, reducing anxiety or preventing pain.
